On October 1st, 2008 the San Cristobal Wind Project completed its first year of operation. During this first year, it has delivered 2,543 MWh to the San Cristobal Island, or 31% of the total Island consumption. It is equivalent to 2,034 tons of CO2 avoided. It has been a low wind period.
